A five-section workflow for a long draft

Keep a copy of your complete draft. Divide it into sections of no more than 1,000 words without splitting a paragraph, quotation, list or table. For an essay, an introduction, two argument sections, a discussion and a conclusion may be natural boundaries; use the boundaries your document actually needs.

Rewrite one section, review it and copy it into your working document before submitting the next. Keep the same style and protected terminology throughout. Five sections of exactly 1,000 words use the entire daily allowance, leaving no room for retries of successful results. Shorter sections leave space for adjustments.

• Check the counter before each submission.
• Save each result outside the editor before replacing the input.
• Read the assembled document for transitions and consistent terminology.

What happens when the allowance runs out

The 5,000-word allowance is shared across your network and resets at midnight UTC. Rewriting the same passage twice counts its input twice. Provider failures and protection-check failures refund word usage, but attempts remain subject to the rate limit.

We do not automatically process a full 5,000-word document in the background. You control each section and decide which edits to keep. If your work requires an uninterrupted full-document review, use a workflow that supports that length rather than assuming a sequence of section edits preserves every cross-reference.
