What an essay humanizer should preserve

An academic essay is more than its wording. Your thesis, the relationship between evidence and conclusions, and the source of each claim need to survive an edit. “Suggests an association” must not become “proves a cause.” A limitation should not disappear because a shorter sentence reads better.

Paste a complete paragraph or a short section rather than a sentence stripped of context. Use Keep specific words for technical terms, author names or terminology that your course requires. Quotes, numbers, links and inline code are protected automatically.

  • Select Academic for technical or research writing.
  • Use Polish when the structure already works.
  • Compare each conclusion with the source evidence before submitting.

A practical workflow for a longer essay

Free accepts up to 1,000 input words per rewrite, within the character limit. Split a longer essay at paragraph boundaries and keep the introduction, methods and discussion separate where possible. Reserve some of the 5,000-word daily allowance for revisions.

After combining the results, reread the whole argument. Check repeated terms, pronouns, citations and transitions across section boundaries. This tool edits language; it does not check whether a reference exists, run a plagiarism scan or determine whether your institution permits AI editing.

An editing example

Before

The results suggest an association, but they do not establish causation.

After

The results suggest a link, but they do not show that one factor caused the other.

Illustrative edit: the uncertainty and the distinction between association and causation stay intact.
