What you can do without an account
You can paste or upload a .txt or .md draft, choose a style, protect particular terms, rewrite and compare the result. You can edit the returned text, copy it or download it. Saved drafts are optional and stay in this browser.
Free includes 1,000 input words per request and 5,000 per UTC day. The allowance is shared across your network, so someone on the same connection may use part of it. It resets at midnight UTC. We also cap attempts at 6 per minute and 20 per day, including failed attempts; failed writing-service and protection checks refund words.
No login does not mean no data processing
Your text still has to reach an AI service to be edited. Drafts are sent to APIMart and its model provider, although we do not store drafts or results in our database. Do not submit confidential material that you cannot share with those providers.
Signing in is for account features and future paid access. It does not unlock a separate free network allowance. Clearing cookies or opening another browser will not reset that allowance. If you reach the limit, keep your draft locally and return after the UTC reset.

Do I need to sign up to see the result?
No. The result appears directly in the public editor after a successful rewrite.
Why did I reach the limit before using 5,000 words myself?
Free usage is counted across a network. Other people on the same connection and your previous successful rewrites may have used part of the allowance. Attempts also have separate rate limits.
